FYI
There is a class action law suit against IMT for various fees charged upon leaving the property! I was a victim of this and was charged $1200 when moving out at the end of lease! I never paid these ridiculous charges however they are on my credit report and have ruined my chances of renting at a decent apartment community or owning my own home!! I really hope that this helps someone else! I knew I wasn't the only one they did this to! If you would like more information please go to the website www.imtclassaction.org

I have lived here about 4 years and I agree with almost everything you said. If you have more than 1 bathroom you should just forget getting the 2nd fixed, it wont happen. I dont have mold but I do have real small ants all over. The Office Staff has changed alot this year, but I wouldnt say they are all bad. The New Manager man I think is the worst EVER. He acts like he is in the CIA or something. I live by building 19 and everytime I see him he is pacing in front of office on his stupid cell phone or goin in and out of building 9 about 50 times a day. He is not friendly at all. I never see him in the office never never ever. The rest of Office seems ok. They have always been nice to me and my wife. I think Lisa was alot nicer than him at least she was in the office. She would get rude and yell sometimes. But she was better than this jerk that is in there now.

The new manager, Dave, he acutally lives in building 9, he lives right next to my best friend. We're having some serious issues with him and I use to live in building 23 and we're still dealing with this man. He doesn't ever answer or call any one back, it's ridiculous

I was notified of the class action suit and asked to be part of it, but have heard nothing about it since (that was mid-June). Does anyone out there know more? I tried the imtclassaction.org, but got nothing but an ad page. does anyone know the case number?

I also went to that website and didnt get any information. I definitely want to join the class action suit. I lived in Victoria Park for 4 years (July 2003 - June 2007). When I left, I was told that everything was fine with my apartment (but didnt do an "official walkthru") ... after several months, I got a call from a collection agency telling me that I owe over $1,000 to replace the carpet. The carpet wasnt new when I moved in ... I complained about the carpet needing to be replaced several times while I lived there. Of course that request was to more than one manager (as there were several through the years). After living there 4 yrs ... its time for the carpet to be replaced by Victoria Park anyway. Its very unfair that they are allowed to place these lies on your credit report with absolutely NO PROOF!! If anyone has the lawsuit information, please post it. Thanks.

I am going to go try to website. I wrote down everytime I went to the office. Who I spoke with and what happened after that. I have yet to pay off my broken lease because I don't feel I owe them a damn thing since they nver fixed anything.

Ummm....its because the manager himself and his staff are drug users and sellers. I lived above them with my daughter and worked late at a nightclub I came home many times to seeing them selling drugs outside the apartment. I yelled at them. Then I smelled crack smoke coming up through my daughters bathroom and again said something to them. My boyfriend went down stairs to talk to them and they were smoking a blunt of weed. Now this was two years ago but its the same management and they evicted me!! I was a perfect tenant for 2yrs until that crack head took over Victoria Park! Now I have over $3,500 on my credit report which is definitely not owed to them......if anyone is filing a law suit I want in!!!

I got similar issues with these shady charges($1,300) and want to do something about these people. I lived at Victoria Park from 06-07, and just recenlty this year got a rude call from a collection agency. I'm peved because I just moved to Texas to finish school and have REAL ISSUES that are consuming my little free time; thus, I feel extreamly flustered and distrubed that this apt office is trying to squeeze money out of me durring hard times. My number is 904-476-2926 ask for Don. I want to seriously do Something!
