this is a good place as a last resort. I do/did have some issues with this place. 1. the bedroom had an ink stain that looked like somebody from the 1700 was sitting at a desk writing a letter, spilled the ink bottle and didnt bother to clean it up. Sarah in the main office did the walk through with me and promised it would be taken care of. NEVER HAPPENED. its still there today. 2. In October of 2007, the apt next to me and across from me was broken into. the apt across from me was fixed the very next day b/c it was empty. Its now march and the apt next to me still hasnt had the door fixed. 5 months and counting. 3. The apartment above me had their main waterline break and flooded my bed. Dave (drug using ------ manager) said that they are not paying for any damage. Understandable b/c its in the lease that damages not caused by the apartment will not be covered. The 2 holes in the ceiling in the bedroom took OVER 2 months to fix. That after 6 calls to Becky (assistant manager) and over 5 visits to the office about the problem. They finally fixed it BUT cracked the globe to the fan and put a rubber band around it to keep it together. They left the globe and 2 fan blades off that I had to put back on myself. They went into the bathroom and scraped the popcorn stuff off the ceiling and didnt bother to clean the bathroom and left all that crap in my bathtub! 4. You basically have to threaten them with a lawyer to get a clean screen for your AC unit. 5. Monthly inspections are NEVER done so if your a slob then you will NEVER be penalized!!!!! 6. Anytime they come into your apartment, unless they move something noticeable, you will NEVER know b/c they NEVER leave a note on your door or give you a 24 hour letter stating they are coming in. 7. It took the apt over 3 months to fix the fountain in the pond. During the 3 months it was broke, the once beautiful Pond became an eye sore with Green Agle and a HUGE INFESTATION of Mosquitos, which are still around!!!!!!!
Once again. Use Victoria Park as A LAST RERORT.
They should really be labeled as "WHEN ALL ELSE FAILS, COME TO US" INSTEAD OF "LUXURY STYLE LIVING"
