I will have to give the apartment credit this time. Although it really is their fault they don't do an extensive check of who is living in an apartment at any given time, they did seem to get something right this time. I believe some drug dealers in our neighborhood finally got busted due to the complaints of various people, and for that we in the surrounding community are thankful. But with that being said, It's sad that it took THIS long to bring someone in to correct the problem.
If you're a new/potential renter, albeit that you can run into problems anywhere you go, please think twice about renting in this community. I'm so suprised that this wasn't any worse than it was. If you were already suckered in, good luck to you, you're going to need it.

i just moved in and was wondering what building this incident occurred at. wondering for the safety of my children.

was in building 9. it was scary as there was also a child in this building who discovered a baggie of 'stuff' in the handicap parking spot right in front of the building. also, they were selling to teens in the neighborhood. witnessed it myself and was seriously disturbed.
Got the hell out while we still could....with the fire in building 8, and then that, it was time to go. I'm just glad that it wasn't worse than it was because at any given time they could have come to any of our doors (mistakenly) and gotten physical or violent. I'm glad to be done with it all.
