I moved into Victoria Park Apartments in March 2006. When I moved in I informed the office staff that the light outside of my door did not work. This may not seem like something very urgent but I am a single woman living by myself and for simple security reasons this was very important to me. It took three weeks for the light to be fixed. The light has only worked for about eight weeks in the total time that I have lived here.

The pool is filthy. The Jacuzzi has not worked since I moved in and I would never even consider using the bathrooms at the pool.

The dumpster clearly needs to be emptied more frequently. Every time I take my garbage over there it is overflowing with trash to the point that people have started leaving their garbage all over the ground.

My air conditioner stopped working in August. It was a Saturday night and the office was closed on Sunday. I called the emergency maintenance pager six times on Sunday and never got a call back. Finally Monday I called the office and someone came to fix it that day. When I got home the nice white carpet in my bathroom was stained with dirt, my toilet seat was up and all of my toilet paper was gone. Needless to say I had to scrub my bathroom from top to bottom and buy a new rug.

When the roof was redone I never received a notice letting me know that it would be done. I came home one day from work and there were roof tiles all over my patio furniture. Also, something punctured my tire and I had to buy a new one.

Last but not least...the bugs!! They have a serious bug problem. You can call to have your apartment sprayed but since they don't spray all of the apartments it doesn't help. There are bugs everywhere.
