We moved last summer and the service has been awful since the first month. The management has poor communication throughout the office. I pay my rent early every month and the staff lost my check and threatened to evict me and my family. The disposal has messed up and nobody comes to fix it when requested. The drains were clogged up within the first month. The drains have also spat black gunk from the spiget when running bath water for my son. The hot water heater breaker consistently turns off so there is obviously a potential risk for a fire. And NOW that the water heater is "fixed," the power company says that we NOW consume 140 kilowatts per day rather than the 6 month history of 30 Kilowatts per day!!!!! My power went from $80 per month to $255. I dont rely on this apartment complex!!!! We will move as soon as our lease is up.

I used to work at this apartment community, so I know it has it's problems. But lets be honest. You get what you pay for. You live in Mandarin, great community and great schools. You have a huge floor plan and great ammenities. The complex is just older. It's going to have some issues. You are not paying for a brand new condo, so don't expect it to be perfect. There are SO many units there, sometimes it would get really overwhelming for us girls in the office. And the maintanace is responsible for all of your apartments PLUS the grounds, and some of the residents there really have no respect for others by littering and just trashing things. SO until people respect their homes more, how is your staff supposed to be perfect in every instance? I am sorry you had a bad experience and I am sure the staff is sorry, too. But I know for a fact that there were other maintanance emergencies where I have had the resident call to thank me for the work the staff performed. Bottom line: Your situation is not typical and you are still getting a great deal.
