I have read a lot of negative remarks about this place I call home. THIS PLACE IS A GREAT PLACE TO LIVE. This is our 5th year here. We have never had a problem with Maintenance, or the office. The maintenance staff is GREAT, very helpful and always very friendly. The people in the office have always treated us with respect. But of course we have always paid our rent on time and tried to be good residents too. Hum, I just wonder if the paying the rent thingy has anything to do with the negative comments. We have been all over this community. It is a very quaint lovely place to live. All of the Staff Members are Great! I just think there may be more to the story's is all...Thank you!

I too lived at Victoria Park for 5 years and paid my rent on time every month for 60 months and I not only tried to be a good resident I WAS!! I am appalled that this reviewer is trying to blame the residents that have been treated so poorly by this establishment. Shame on you! Maybe you should look behind the walls and see the black mold that was in my apartment and has lead to me having many many health problem I didn't have before I lived there! I warn anyone looking at this property especially if you have children to look else where PLEASE!! It's not worth your health!!

I agree with the respondee.....shame on you for even implying that the horrible experiences had anything to do with people not paying rent on time! We were there for 4 years, and that was long enough to see that property change hands several times, go through all kinds of staff/management changes, and to see the place all in all go down the toilet bowl. I lived there when it was decent and had gates..(when they worked at least part of the time) and was there when they ripped them out. Did they lower my rent because they took that added security away that I paid for monthly? Hell no! When the fire occured, did they do all they could to take care of those tenants that lost almost everything? NO, I knew someone in that building and they were not sympathetic towards the victims in that horrible incident, nor did they make any effort to take care of those innocent residents when they needed them the most. How about when it was raining down my walls, almost like something straight out of a scary movie? Did they fix it? Eventually they did, about a year and a half later...in the meantime they kept bleaching the water stains on the ceiling and walls to make them less noticeable. When the plaster started peeling off where the drywall came together, did they replace it or patch it? NO! They used their fix-it-all method of bleaching the stains...Also, when those drug dealers were busted, it was going on for quite some time before they decided to make a move on them and make our community safer. I paid my rent on time every month for 4 years solid; I never partied, or even had people over at all for that matter. I still experienced some not so pleasant things while living in this community. So posting your opinion of an apartment community is fine due to our freedom of speech law. Slandering people that you do not know and making blind accusations about people that choose to disagree with your opinion shows exactly what sort of intellegence level you carry.

This person sounds like they work for the company. RIDICULOUS !!! This place has many, many problems. Stay clear !!!
