A Great Place to Live

We enjoy living here despite this complex's handful of short-comings.
Let's get the issues out of the way-
The rent is fairly high, but this is easily justified when you consider how much this area is in demand and how wonderful this place is to live at.
The Pet Policy, well it sucks. The pet deposit is high, though I think it is at pretty much all of these upscale complexes. The weight restriction is annoying. We have a large dog that is currently living with a relative, because there wasn't a chance that he could pass for 35 lbs or less.
Parking- There needs to be more of it, a lot more. Depending on how lucky you are/how many apartments near your are vacant, it can be a nightmare. There have been several occasions that we were forced to park our car vey far away from our apartment.
The people that live in the apartment above us are noisy. I find this to be an inherent flaw with not being on the top floor of an apartment building. I think it's a fair trade-off since we don't have to deal with carrying things up and down the stairs.
There is only 1 dumpster for the complex. Taking out the garbage is incovenient unless you live in one of the first couple of buildings.
My only other wish is that residents could access the pool table later in the day than currently available...The pool table is inaccesible when the office closes.
All of that aside, our apartment is awesome. The day that we moved in, everything was perfect. We haven't had any big things go wrong in our apartment, and the few small things that have were taken care of right away and properly. The office staff is always very friendly and they will do anything that they can to help. The grounds are always very well kept, and we enjoy feeding/watching the growing duck population in the lake. Our apartment is definitely spacious with plenty of storage space and upgraded tile, cabinetry, and light fixtures. I enjoy my trips down to the fitness room, wich is accessible 24 hrs a day and has a small area for children to amuse themselves while their parents work-out. There are also nice bathrooms at the club house with lockers and private shower. The pool is great (large and attractive with ample lounge chairs), even if it's a bit shallow. Can't forget to mention how convenient the location is, anything I need is a 15 min or less drive.
If you hadn't guessed, I love my life here. I will miss it whenever we end up moving out.
