It's okay, the price is what won me.

My friend lived here 9 years and hated it. She just stayed for being lazy, I guess. Her main complaint was maintenance.
I'm on my 2nd year and I've had a good experience. I've had little break and they fix it immediately. They just would not replace my kitchen window because they don't until renovation time (which will be when I move out.)
The pros:
• HUGE, open and spacious floor plans. Up to 2300 square feet on some!
• It's very affordable for the sq footage.
• It is quiet at night.
• Big, spacious balcony.
• It's in the prestigious Baymeadows area, one of only 2 safe areas in ugly Jacksonville (this and Mandarin).
• Management is not in my hair all the time because it's such a huge complex; I'm not near the office.
• My rent did NOT go up this year automatically!!!! Every other apt complex in Florida does big time each and every year!
Cons:
• It's butt-ugly from the outside and constantly dirty looking. (They're renovating both the inside and out now, however.)
• With renovation, prices are going up, very high, IMO.
• Not super pretty on the inside (not super ugly either) but then again, that price is great! ($694 for big 2 bedroom, 2 bath, W/D hookups, big closets, balcony)
• My parking lot FLOODS with almost all heavy rains. I'm on the 2nd floor so it's no biggie for me, but I did buy rain boots for if I must go outside. Last big storm, the water almost reached the 1st floor apt!
