I feel like an idiot for residing at this place!

This place is an absolute joke! My wife and I moved here in May and have been completely disgusted with everything about VOB. The management staff is a bunch idiots off the street. If you are breathing or have a heartbeat you can get a job here as a manager. They do not answer phone calls, emails and run the other way when they see you. There is no customer service. Once you finally get human contact they will act genuwinely concerned about your issues, but as soon as you walk out the door they completely forget what you talked about and take no action. The maintenance personell are incompitent and close work orders without doing them. The apartment complex itself is ugly, they fool you when you first look at it by saying they are doing multi-million dollar renovations and upgrades. On this note I took matters into my own hand and refuse to pick up my dogs crap due to I believe it is a significant upgrade to the current landscaping problem.

I have never been this upset with any other apartment complex I have lived in. We pay rent every month and part of that rent is for maintenance service. We are definitely only getting half of what we pay for each month and this is being generous.

I have gone 5 months without AC and pest control. The apartment complex does not want to reimburse for things that they were liable for. I have been forced to file a lawsuit against the VOB because they have not provide the services I pay for each month, that all the residents pay for.

I am also looking for current or past residents to help with my case against VOB. The VOB just expects everyone to just except the crap they are dealing us, but residents do not have to take it. I encourage you to read your lease agreement, Section 16 states that if they do not provide the services listed in the agreement you can break your lease. Do not let them fool you.

I AGREE!! I have lived here since August and have had the same problems... no AC for the month of August, constantly running toilet water, shower head is rotting out of the wall, holes in the shower where there isn't any grout, only cheap caulking, the microwave was wired wrong so if it ran when any other light was on, it blew the breaker. the maintenance staff is not trained on how to fix anything besides giving you a new air filter out of their office. Everything else is too difficult for them, so they ignore the work order. Calling in work orders does not work, emailing work orders does not work, going in and asking nicely for work orders does not work... you must stand in the office, refusing to leave until the problem is fixed, not just heard. Don't believe me? Just ask my downstairs neighbors who had sewage overflow into their apartment, not once, not twice, but THREE times! The most recent time it happened, they were out of town for Christmas and the sewage soaked into their bathmat, towels, and clothes. That happened 11 days ago, and the staff said they would send someone out to check the plumbing. No one has come by still. HEALTH VIOLATION! Oh, and the security... the abandoned mercedes with all four tires slashed that has been sitting in the parking lot since thanksgiving should say something about that. or the security officers that sit around in the fitness center watching basketball on the treadmill tvs. DO NOT LIVE HERE!
