Before you sign a lease here, just ask yourself...do I really want to be living in a building that's almost a half-century old' The pipes are never maintained. You will get frequent backups. I just hope I am lucky enough to get out of here in time to escape my neighbor's fate. She had to have her entire kitchen wall torn out (which involved having strangers in her house for 3 days) to correct a leakage and mold problem. They renovated the 'look' of the buildings, but didn't spend the $ to really update what needed updating...plumbing and electrical. All the changes were superficial. I have probably submitted 30 maintenance requests since I moved in last April. Few were responded to in a timely manner. And the office staff is RUDE...I have heard the things they say about residents when they think no one is around (I was actually still inside the office, and one of the mgrs had thought there were no tenants around when she started spouting crap off). Be prepared to fight to get your maintenance issues taken care of.

For the price they charge here, is it really worth the hassle' Heck, even the pools are poorly maintained. Apparently they got sick of paying the pool cleaners, so they let the pools go to crap at the height of the summer season! They were so green I thought I was in Chicago on St. Patrick's Day.

What are the pluses' Well, I guess you will never have trouble finding a parking spot, because no one wants to live here. The old golf course is nice to take a walk on, but its not like the Villages had anything to do with that...they don't even own the property. The floorplan layout on the larger apartments is nice, but does no good if not maintained...and they charge too much for it. So, you decide for yourself if this place sounds right for you.

People who lived there definetly suggest others not to go for this apartment. Thats a great review which says the truth. Believe!!! people dont go for the "Villages of Baymeadows".

the worst place I have ever lived! Rude staff, maintenance nightmare,and not a very safe place.
