It's amazing how many reviews this complex has gotten in the last month. It really shows how terrible the residents are being treated and the disgusting conditions in which VoB is maintained. In every apartment rating site, you find a bad rating that reflects the one bitter tenant, but for VoB, EVERYONE is bitter! I'm actually hoping for something drastic to occur so that I can get out of my lease!
Believe all the reviews, they don't reflect the one bad tenant, they reflect everyone's experience. I haven't heard a good thing yet, just more and more terrible things. I have even heard that they had to seal in the asbestos in the ceilings. If they did that correctly, it should be safe, but if they did a crap job, just like everything else they "fixed"... we could all be in danger!
Don't live here!

That oceandudejax guy is, again, obviously working for the complex. How in the hell would he know that 'all prospects are told' unless he works there? This just goes to show how closely the stupid office staff is monitoring this site. As far as the asbestos goes, he misses the point of the poster. The poster said if it was sealed correctly it should be safe, but based upon the history of the inept maintenance staff it is doubtful that it was, in fact, sealed correctly. Pay attention.

It really angers me that the person above that made a comment is def a employee, just by the comment of "oceandudejax" you can tell he is and you can also see what everyone is talking about. The people that work here are rude and dont care about you at all. I found rats in my apt and I called freaking out about them, do you know what I was told? That it was too late in the day (it was 5pm) and they werent able to do anything about it. She then told me it doesnt really matter bc all they are going to do is stick some traps out. Then I explained that I have a dog and I did not want to leave him inside an apt with rats in it while i was in school all day, she then told me to just lock my dog in the bathroom (he is a 65 lb dog) She told me to calm down bc it wasnt like i havent been sleeping with them for this long anyway. For about a week I called VOB and cooperate. No one returned my phone calls. So it just goes to show that cooperate doesnt care either. I have now been moved out of my apt for a week, and I have caught 4 rats so far. Oh yea and not to mention I had roaches pouring out of my electrical plug. This place is crazy! I can not think of one person up there that truly cares. It is very sad.

I am a tenant here, and I was NEVER told anything about any kind of asbestos problem. However, I was told that the maintence department had a 24 hour response time, which somehow turned into six weeks or more, and the problem still is not fixed correctly. You want a responsive reaction from the VoB, pay your rent one day late, or wait until it is time to renew your lease...
