Apparently I lucked out and have not had all the problems everyone else here has had. I will say that you do have to be persistent with the complex to get them to fix things. I usually get a call from someone in maintenance within 4-8 hours asking for more details. Non-emergency repairs get resolved withing 1-3 days.
I would renew my lease again if the cost of studio/1 bedrooms were cheaper.
Nighttimes are surprisingly quiet. Great walking pathes around the old golf course fairways too.

Rats, cockroaches, vandalism, stinky garbage everywhere, break-ins, overwhelming plumbing problems, overwhelming electical problems, incompetant maintenance staff, and rude office staff. These problems don't get fixed by being 'insistant while still being polite and just this side of confrontational.' They just don't get fixed. No one can give positive reviews about this complex without some sort of ulterior motive. It's awful. If you don't work here, were you asked by someone on staff to give a positive review?

What did you get for writing this one? Trust me we have all had to be persistent with this place, there's no excuse for their ignorance in running the place right! We will not stop bearing the truth that no one wants to hear!!!! The uncomfortable silence MUST be heard!

a. Is this conversation boring you because the responses have been completely the opposite of your opinion? b. As for being the wrong race, economic status, etc... I personally am a well educated, well spoken white girl from a upper middle class family with a degree from a top rated university and a good job. If the complaints about this apartment complex are simply the complaints of the lower class looking for someone to blame, why did I get hosed? It seems that I don't fit your stereotype of useless, ignorant complainers.

I forgot how much fun this thread was. Believe it or not complainy-pants but I'm moving back....to VoB I'd invite you all to my housewarming but fear the beating Kimberlystar would inflict on me. Just kiddin, I hope this has all been good natured ranting for all parties involved.
