Warning for Casa Luna #137

Rather than be vague and insult the shady management, I'm going to be very specific. If you are looking into renting out Casa Luna apartment #137 make sure to get in writing that the plumbing is working, and that you can brake your lease at the first sign of flooding. Our kitchen flooded easily more that 30 times in the 4 months we lived there. To be more specific, it would flood from the washer drain pipe. However, it wasn't from us doing laundry, but the apartments around us. Local Maintenance and Roto Rooter came out multiple times "fixing" the problem. To my knowledge it has not been fixed, and we were not compensated at all for the trouble we went through, and the days of work we missed. We were supposed to, but the manager who was helping us resigned and the new manager has no record of what we were supposed to be compensated for.
The second apartment they tried to move us into was filthy and filled with roaches so we asked to brake our lease and they let us (the only good thing they did).
This complex is big... very big... and unfortunately that causes a problem because they don't have nearly enough staff (management or maintenance) to handle all of the problems.
To show how serious and "real" this is, I am also going to provide my email address where you may contact me with further questions. kyleblane(at)yahoo.com
