The management were two faced. If you complain they go to the person and tell them what you said. People would sit under my balcony and mess with my dogs and make them bark and then complain about the barking. Neighbors stole my house and car keys. Someone drove my car all night after the keys were stolen (I checked my mileage). I've had to replace 3 gas caps (including the lock kind, but they just broke those!) because people stole my gas. I had to replace my locks on the doors and keys from my mailbox. My life and my dogs lives were threatened. There was armed robbery and cops with guns all over the neighborhood. Police were called A LOT! Lots of drugs and partying going around there. Someone stole a lot of my things as I was moving in because they were on the porch. They were so loud and noisy all night you couldn't sleep. There's a lot of rude people and they have no respect for anyone. I felt unsafe because strange people would come up and try to open my doors and windows. The security guards slandered my name because they said they smelled pot in my apartment and sent a notice to me. People here have verbally harrassed me and it's a big circle of crap. Very bad and unsafe place to live!!!

May apartment was robbed in May, and yesterday while at the office there were four people waiting who were all robbed. Jere's response was, "what do you want me to do? 20 apartments have been robbed this month." Wow that makes me feel good. I hate this place.

can anyone have the power to go to the housing department and report Villages of Baymeadows. I would participate for any court days that the attorney will schedule for us. The only problem I have, I can't contribute with attorney fees or whatever is money related. But if someone knows a lawyer I think we have a case here.

Hey Renter4bliving, did you see the news report last night? A boy died in Villages of Baymeadows because of Mold and Abestos. Contact Fox News locally, I think we might actually get a class action suit.

I have had someone try and break into my apartment twice in just the last month! So did the people next door. I have a crack in my foundation, and when it is raining all day, water comes into my living room. I also have had water come in through the windows and roof. Back to the break in issue. One day I was in the Residents Service office to talk to them about the break ins that happened to our apartment, and at the same time another renter was reporting a break in, The other resident asked the Residents Service Rep if anyone else had reported any recent crime or break ins, and the resident services rep said ??Oh no, you are the first one??. My jaw hit the floor! I could not believe that they are keeping things like this from us! It makes me wonder.. what more are they keeping from us? I don??t feel safe in my home and it is very sad that even if I wanted to transfer to another apartment were I could feel a little more secure, they would charge me up the whazoo. After I placed my complaint about put break in, Residents Service then recommend for us (all residents) to get a security system. And the told us that we would have to pay for all the installation costs and that it was required that it would need to be a wireless security system. As much as we pay in rent, I would think that if a property manager has had as many security issues as this property is having, that they would pay to have the systems installed. The security they currently have is not catching or lowering the amount of break ins. You would think that they would reevaluate the situation and add security systems to our apartments. I would even be willing to pay a small additional fee for added security that I can control and not rely on security officers that are obviously not doing a very good job. I am a single female and for security to know that someone tried to break in to my apartment twice, and that they also knew that the cops were out and saw suspicious activity near my apartment, that they should drive by or walk by and say ??Hey, she just had someone try and break in, lets just drive by and make sure everything is ok??. Nope. I have not seen security at all since the 2 break in attempts. I see more maintenance and new resident tour carts then I see security carts. The only time I see security is when they are up at the old kangaroo sitting and talking while having a snack and beer. I also see them PARKED and just hanging out chatting in the parking lots. There also is not enough adequate lighting for this size of a complex. It would be a lot nicer having a lot more lighted areas. I honestly would not be surprised if security was in on the crimes that are going on. Way too much has happened, and things are just getting worse! I have personally had to go and have keys made just to drop off to the maintenance office, because they lost my keys 3 times! On top of all this I just received a letter at 2 am, talking about more crime and what they are going to do about it...they said that they have hired 2 additional security officers for the day shift (7 am - 4 pm). The ones that we do already have don??t do anything as it is, and I am sure the new ones will not be trained well enough either. The letter also stated that over the next 4 weeks, that they will be fixing our locks. I feel that the locks that we have should already be working at 100%. Obviously, this shows that they feel the safety precautions they have in place are inadequate. I don??t trust they are giving a 100% to try and keep this place safe. This place is turning into what it was years ago, when women could not even walk to their apartment without being raped. In the past 2 months there have been countless armed robberies, drug busts, violence, car jacking, and theft. The sad thing is, this place could be nice, however, they just don??t have enough of an adequate staff to keep this place safe or adequate maintenance to keep our homes up to par. It??s come to a point that if we want things to change, we need to stand up and group together and demand for things to be better. I don??t think safety is to much to ask!
