STAY AWAY...FAR AWAY! From: -Anonymous- Date posted: 10/12/2006 Years at this apartment: 2006 - 2006 1 response   This neighborhood is a total nightmare. It prides itself on being a "gated community" although I have lived here for almost 6 months and have never seen the gate closed! I was told when I moved in that there is s security guard who goes around the neighborhood at night to ensure safety..well I have never seen that either. There are constant car break-ins and vandalism. My car was broken into a couple of weeks ago. I do not feel safe walking outside at night because the area in front of the buildings are poorly lit. There are always shady people walking around. The landscaping is an absolute mess. It looks like there hasn't been new landscaping since it was built. There is a major termite and roach problem. There are spray painted x's on the building where the termites have taken over. The owners of the community change almost monthly. The fitness center is an absolute joke, none of the machines work. As for my apartment, my air conditioning has been messed up since I moved in and I have told them repeatedly. They continue to come out and try to fix it but it doesn't work. My thermostat says 90 degrees and it is still feezing. All the appliances are old and outdated. Overall it is way overpriced for what it has to offer. Don't let anyone fool you, this neighborhood is disgusting and I can't wait to get out. Please spend your money elsewhere.
