Been 3 months - still waiting for some basic repairs to be done in my apartment. Balconies are falling apart - you can push the railing ever so slightly and watch the wood railing separate from the structure. Plumbing here is a nightmare. Leaks everywhere; leak stains under sinks, in ceilings, and (not to the fault of the complex) - the water quality is disgusting (Jax water). It would be nice to have the apt complex install a water softener or provide filters to residents. Kitchens are tiny. Dishwashers are ineffective - partially due to the water quality. Parking is great! It seems like we are the only residents who clean up after their dog(s). Some lights in the neighborhood are out, so it can be dark when walking around at night. Neighbors are really friendly - but that can change over time as with any apartment. Grilling on the porch is prohibited. Poor insulation. Funny how the apartment charges a water connection fee AND the water company does as well. The car wash is deceptive - there is one part where you pay for use, and another park that appears to be usable if you bring your own hose. Maintenance in staff in general (with one exception) tend to be really friendly and helpful. The apartments are falling apart so much and are so old that there is only so much they can do. Nails are poking up in the stairways going to to different apartments. Carpet was nasty when moved in. Apartment check in sheet in general was filled with problems in the apartment. Dryer vents clogged up through the different floors. Washer dryer area not large enough to store front load washers and dryers. They do let you hang tvs on the wall and are pretty open as long as you ask permission to do something.
Location is great. Right next to 95S onramp (after a U turn at Baymeadows). Right next to the Publix grocery store as well as several restaurants, the community college, video store, LARGE dog park, etc..
