Water's Edge Apartments are cheap for a reason. You have to call about 5 times to get anything fixed. Sometimes they still don't fix the problem. Management never returns your calls and then when you do get a hold of them, they ask what took you so long to get with them. There was raw sewage bubbling out of the street for several months before anything was ever done. We were told the security gates and the pool were in the process of being fixed at the time of our move in, but 2 years later no progress had been made. We had air conditioning and electrical problems, but it took 2-3 months for the issues to be resolved. Then we had bees living in the outside wall of our apartment and they were getting into our dining room through the poorly constructed window, which was always closed. It took about 4 or 5 phone calls, several weeks and about 200 bees getting into the apartment before the problem was addressed. And then, the bees resurfaced a few months later because they didn't address the problem correctly. The second attempt took even longer for them to fix the problem. Whenever I would look into the dining room, I could see light from the outside where the wall and the ceiling met. It was as if the unit settled and wall had somehow disconnected from the ceiling The apartments are very poorly built and in need of a lot of repairs. They should be condemned. Management should be replaced and sent to training. The owner should be fined tremendously.
