From an apartment builder--- a nice place to be

I build apartment communities for a living so if you want the real deal here it is. Whoever wrote "Ghetto" is immature, uneducated, and inexperienced in apartment living. A community that is roughly 2 years old is "ageing"' There is rarely a time someone is not in the office. And how would they know about a lack of credit checks unless they were a deadbeat themselves' The best way to determine the type of enviornment is to drive around the facility and look at the cars. The vehicles here are for the most part nice late models. It's not hard to find a Mercedes, Lexus or Expedition. There are no junkers or beat up cars you would expect to find where poor credit risks live. Parking is limited only at a few buildings. After that it's fine. Neighbor noise is fine. The buildings are not crowded together so this helps. This is mostly a young to earily middle age professional group. Only assisted living could be expected to be quiter. The grounds are well kept with average landscaping. Safety is adaquate. Only a couple of parking areas that do not face another building could have been better lit. While management will stress the automatic gate is not for security, I believe it helps in keeping out people with no business being here. This gate hardly ever is opperational and is my only real complaint in 1 1/2 years of living here. The physical construction of the buildings is excellant. Inside the units the quality is deserving for this standard of living. I believe there is sound insulation in the ceilings of the 1st and 2nd floors, as is in walls between units, with the added benefit of lower utility bills. The stone facades of the buildings are beautiful. There is an exceptional pool, hot whirlpool, and grilling facilities. There is a nice fitness center with something special. You are provided the services of a Personal Trainer twice a day, four times a week, at no charge! I have been around a lot of maintainance staffs. If you live here you are very lucky if you need service of any kind. Their attitudes are great. Contrary to "Ghetto", I find the office staff to be genuinely courtious, helpful, and concerned for the residents happiness here. Finally, this is a terifically convienient location. Easy accessability to all major routes; 20 minutes to downtown, 40 to St.Augustine, 40 to the Airport. There are many well built and new apartments in this vacinity with more on the way. Your concern most likely is balancing price with square footage. All other things equal, Wimberly is a good bet.
