Lived there 8 years - every year or two there is a new manager. Every week or so new maintenence crew (of 1 person). Every year rent goes up $25-50. Crime is rising in complex. Slow for repairs and they don't keep their promises to fix up the place. It took 4 years for them to FINALLY change out the malfuntioning stove. Glad I'm gone!

1) uh, so what if there are new managers? 2) i dont think its their fault if they are having trouble hiring another maintenance person, i know for a fact they really need some people and just cant find anyone 3) rent goes up that much anywhere, duh. i heard at the place down the road it was going up $100-200 so id say my $23 increase was reasonable. 4) crime can happen anywhere; maybe if the police didnt have to drive down from the jacksonville sherrifs office, which is over 30 mins away, there wouldnt be such a problem. heck, half the time they dont bother to come at all, so id be complaining to the jso. 5) duh they will be slow for repairs, THERE IS ONLY ONE MAINT MAN DEET DEE DEE! 6) im thinking if your stove didnt work for 4 years, maybe you should have called back to check on your maint request.

1) You must work for this company. 2) Yes it is their fault. Pay the maintenance persons a little more and they would not have problems finding decent ones. 6) I assume that she did. They just did not want to spend the money... I lived in that apartment complex. I loved the location and the rent was less than others in the area when I moved out of my house. I knew I was in trouble when I asked them to replace the light outside my door and they told me it was not in their budget. I complained about various things and the reponse to get the items fixed was very slow. I finally moved out after a lot of people in my building got rats. I did not have them (or so I thought). I went away for about 5 days and came back and noticed the bottoms of the doors chewed on and rat feces all over the apartment. I complained and they were slow to respond. They said that they would take care of it and even clean the rat feces up. I went to the apartment and still found the feces everywhere. I cleaned it up myself. They put in poison under the dishwasher which killed the rat but left it dead in my apartment. I kept calling to complain about it and they kept telling me that they could not find it. I did my own search in the apartment. I found it under one of the cabinets. I removed the kick plate and the dead rat was there. They removed the rat and replaced the cabinent. I was confused about that since I had only removed the kick plate which is not a part of the cabinet. When I left that apartment I moved over to Royal Oaks and I was surprised that if something broke (rarely) that it was fixed within 24 hours. I assume the person that responded to this review actually works for this apartment complex or the management company. I went by the old apartment complex today to visit a friend and I was surprised that the apartment complex looks a lot better than it did when I lived there 2 years ago. Hopefully they will improve the service to the people that live there.

In responce to this person not even related. If Mandarin is a far distance for JSO from down town. Boy where do I start. Maybe you just moved here or never lived in a big city I don't know. Times are changing and life at woodbridge is falling behind. Maybe you can see it compaired to other places maybe you can't. Its cool because what they are betting on is people out of town that know no different will move in here. THIS COMPLEX IS TWENTY FOUR YEARS OLD come on! Rent goes up everywhere. Fokes this place will be leveled when its needs to.
