Come, but with caution

I lived at Woodhollow for 4 years. I recently bought a home and can't believe that I put up living there for so long. I had a few experiences that happened that I need to warn you about. There is no gate, so random people come and go. I had random people knocking on my door at all times of the night and day. One time some older gentleman knocked on my door and I answered. He started screaming at me to get my husband out here, the one the has the military stickers on my car. I told him he was not available and I slammed my door. I don't have a husband and the military stickers were my neighbors truck. By the way, my neighbors to my right were wonderful. Then another time on a Sunday night, I had some random black man banging on my door and covering the peep hole. I did not answer the door. It was like 9pm. Then they came back at 11pm and his friend started banging on my door again. This time he did not cover up my peep hole. They banged so loud, it woke my neighbor up that was military and he said what's up to the guy. He told him that he wanted the person in my apartment. I wish I had a gun. My neighbor then called me concerned because he knew I did not know people like that and I did not know what to do, I was terrified in my apartment alone. Just a sidenote, I am a young professional without life drama and I had no idea who these people were. Another incident was there was a huge fight at the entrance to the apartments between 10 people or so. I think they were coming back from the bar and screamed at some people on their balcony. In addition to that, my upstairs neighbor had his "friends" break into his apartment but chose mine instead. I called the police and had him evicted. There were so many people upstairs and fights all the time. You can hear everything from the upstairs balcony and it echoes into the whole downstairs apartment. I would call the police and the apartment numerous times. I would say about once a month. I also heard loud music from cars driving by at all times of the night. It seems like there was a lot of young people in their first apartments and did not know how to act. I felt safe at first but some of the office staff like Laura and Christie left and it all went down him. By the way, you are right Janet sucks. All the problems I had with my apartment with maintenance was taken care of in a timely manner. I had no problems here. Although I did feel safe at first, I definitely did not when I left. I am so glad I don't have to deal with this anymore and my new townhome is beautiful and quite and does not have riff raf hanging around. The day I moved out I saw some really sketchy people randomly walking around the parking lot with Dreds and unbathed. I am glad I left when I did. The entrance lights were never on at night so it was hard to find the entrance. I called the office and they never did anything about it. There again, a safety issue. Outside of those incidents, if you need a place to stay and you have a budget and single. This is OK, but be cautious with the environment.
