My boyfriend and I felt like we were sucked into moving into Woodhollow this past April. We were driving to Jax from out of town, when searching for an apartment and were kind of in a hurry to find a place. Woodhollow showed us this beautiful up to date apartment model that we totally fell in love with. After we left the office from signing a lease and putting down a deposit, we ran into some girls in the parking lot and they warned us to not move in here. The girls were very upset and on their way into the office to break their lease. Well we wish we would have listened to the girls! The only apartment available for us to move into at the time was occupied so we could not see what it looked like inside. Well it was nothing like the model. All appliances were very old and we moved into a dirty apartment. The office told us on 4 occasions that they would send someone out to clean it up. No one ever came to clean it! My boyfriend and I had to spend our first 2 days cleaning this apartment from top to bottom. WE had to clean up after the person that lived there before us. The apartment was dirty and even had trash and left behind junk. The apartment was in no condition for someone else to be moving in, but we didn't have any choice since we came from out of town with all of our belongings. On top of the office never acknowledging any maintenance request's, we are now getting to know the neighbors and have heard from everyone's mouth so far of how their cars have either been broken into or stolen. AND to make matters worse there was a home invasion and a girl was shot, 2 days ago in the building right next to mine. Think the office is going to do anything to make this a safer community' Hell NO!! They played dumb when we called them about it and acted like they didn't know anything about the shooting. We are counting down the days until our lease is over! And if we can one day afford to we will be breaking our lease.
