Look deep before you rent

I lived at my apartment for a year. Before the new management took over I was told that my aprtment was next to the crack house and my actual apartment used to be the hoe house. (Seriously) Since I have been there I have not had any issues with noise or nosy neighbors. I have had issue with things going wrong in my apartment like leaking A/C and wet carpet, and the maintence staff taking FOREVER to fix the problem. If I could go back and pick another apartment I would. My advice to anyone looking for an apartment please look deep before you rent.
