Very noisy

Apts are spacious, well laid out; crown molding. Landscaping is beautiful. We've lived here for two years but have noticed a sharp decline in the quality of life here. It used to be very quite here, very quite. Now, noise from dogs whining and barking through the day, to neighbors shouting in the halls like a frat-house, loud music and televisions, kids with powered scooters zipping through the downstairs hall ways has become ridiculous, even for a rental community. I was up last night until 3 a.m. from a loud TV, shouting and barking dog. Management has repeatedly told us there is nothing they can do about the noise, including the dogs barking. The noise has become so intolerable, that we are moving after our lease is up. We've also noticed a decline in the maintenance- mgmt used to keep the hallways washed down, and everything in good working order. Now, hallways and railings are soiled, rodent droppings lay about and spillage from daily garbage pickup is left on the floors. Daily garbage pickup is great, however, the garbage collector (employed by the apt) has a habit of slamming the lids on each and every can, causing a terrible echo in the hallways. I have kindly asked him to close the lids gently but this has caused him to become louder and now he runs up the stairways to cause more noise. Mgmt has done nothing. One other note- mgmt enters the apts more often then we feel is necessary. When they do, tenants receive a letter the week before stating mgmt cannot give specific days or times they will enter. You never know if or when someone has been in your apt. This was a very nice place to live and it is a shame that so many qualities have declined. We hate living here now.
