This is the cheapest good looking complex within the Key West/Stock Island area. But there is a 2 year waiting list to get in which is currently closed. Don't look forward to try to live here any time soon. So what the hell'!

There is a 2 year waiting list because this proerty is for lower income tenants. Many people in Key West fall into this catagory. I run a similar (but nicer cleaner prettier) type property. My wait list for a 3 bedroom is 3 years, a 2 bedroom can be 1 month wait to 2 years wait,same with a 1 bedroom. My complex was affixed to help fishworkers and as such I must hold 40% of my tenants to be fishworkes. The residency is completely depending upon what the circumstances are of the ppl on the list now. If they make too much money, they are not eligible. If the unit was previously held by a fisherman, I must move a fishworker in as a priority. Many on my "list" move away as KW is not worker friendly. It's a disgrace, but we here are doing what we can do to house those working stiffs (like myself) as fast as we can providing they are approved by the Florida tax Credit Laws regulations. My building runs 100% occupancy near all the time, turn over is minimal. I am sure it is the same with Stadium, however, as for the wait list being "cut off" That is not legal. Just FYI

The only thing on Stock Island is trailer parks and trash.
