I moved into these apartments in December 2004 and really love it here. The neighborhood is very quiet and most people that live here are either retired or young professionals. There are a few families, but no problems with noisy teenagers or kids playing in the streets.
I live in a first floor, two bedroom and the layout is perfect for roomates. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the apartment and we can't hear each other from across the apartment. We can, however, hear our upstairs neighbor sometimes (walking, toilets) but not nearly as bad as other apartments I've lived in around the Greater Orlando area. The only problem I really have is with the storage space in this apartment. There are no utility closets in the apartment besides the laundry closet, so if you have a full size washer and dryer, you will struggle to find a place to put your vacuum and mop. The entryway closet is filled with the water heater, so no luck there! Also, there isn't alot of cupboard space, so if you have a lot of dishes or appliances, you may be out of luck.
One of the bonuses is that the kitchen is very wide. Two or three people can comfortably work in the kitchen and not bump elbows. Another bonus to this apartment is there is alot of natural light. Big windows, french doors and very open floor plan lets alot of the sun in.
Grounds are well kept, maintenance is fairly prompt (within a day or two), there is ample parking all times of day or night and I've had good experiences with the office staff.
I do have just one more thing to note. If you work day shifts (9-5), getting out of the complex can be a royal pain because you turn directly onto 192 into morning traffic. I've waited as much as ten minutes just to leave the complex and drivers who live here can get really impatient and try to cut around you if they think you aren't agressive enough.
