YOU WILL GET ROBBED, Literally. Someone goes around every 6 months
and breaks into their buildings and robs up to 5 apartments at a time.
All they do is change the locks, and it happens again. But they notify
no-one. I lived here from June 2004 until May 2005 and I was
impressed at first with it being new, until I found out the multiple
downsides. After the hurricanes they randomly evicted people out of their
apartments because they took too long to fix the building, letting the
leaks run rampant. Any maintentance requests have to be made
over and over again, and might get taken care of within 2 months, maybe.
Oh, and there is a "random stranger" that seems to hit a building every
6 months (without breaking any locks or doors, as if he has a key'!)
and rob up to 5 apartments at a time. The management just goes about
like nothing has happened, changing the locks only if strongly requested
and then the new locks are the same type as the old. The manageMENT
does not care about the tenants, as long as the bosses get their money.
You will feel welcome if it costs them time or money. Management
will not compromise on anything. Their excuse is "You signed the
lease". So DON"T!!!!
