I really do have to say, yes it is safe, and yes it is quiet -but is that only because the AC is so loud and you need ten fans on to circulate the air properly and it drowns out whatever outside noise may be happening' Plus your TV has to come up in volume form all the ambient noise. I can't use my kitchen cabinets because there is something growing in it, not to mention they are a very dark color and I would not be able to see the many roaches running around in there. My tile was so dirty when I first moved in my feet were black from walking on it. Needless to say I spent 5 nights bleaching and scrubbing. My carpet has who knows what kind of dust and crap in it, it has not been changed in a long time and maintenance so conveniently left a bunch of wood shavings on the carpet when the installed a new closet door. The walls have marker marks in 5 different places, one closet door is riggied with a screw to keep it closed. The bathroom is odd. The shower is small and of couurse because of the poor cirulation, mold grows everywhere. I had to secure my door with insulation because huge gaps to the outside showed when you closed it. Yes it is cheap, but isn't there some kind of average decency that you should expect from a rental property' Please give me a door that is secure, and just clean it before I get there, don't smoke in the place while you are doing repairs. It is hard enough having to move.
