Like the previous reviewer, I also lived here for a couple years with intentions of being able to work my way up to something better. The fact that apartment was income based was a blessing at the time. I also lived in a 3 bedroom 1 bath apartment and experienced much of the same things. It's just sad to say that a couple years later much hasn't changed, if any at all. I had no qualms with the apartment I lived in. True, the apartment offered no extra amenities, but all that was compensated for by way of its spaciousness and the fact that it was very clean, with no insect infestations whatsoever! The problem really did come in the form of the other tenants who lacked respect for others' properties and for where they lived. I can't tell you how many times I would come out of my front door with my children to find people sitting all over the hood of my car, or come home with my small children to find people smoking marijuana while sitting in kitchen chairs, the backs of which leaned up against my front door! Even parking was a nightmare as there were times I'd be coming home from work and couldn't find a parking space in the whole complex! Tennants' visitors would fill all the spaces and allow their cars to remain there all night! GGGGRRRRR..... To be honest, although a few apartments of the adjacent apartment complex had been converted to a police department, I was never convinced of its effectiveness; nothing really ever seemed to get any better as there was still a lot of crime! Had it not been for the other tennants themselves, I'd have probably resided there a bit longer, but I'd had enough and wanted out of there as soon as possible!
