Maintenance and management here are bad. They either take a long time to do things or they never do it. Many parking spaces are way too narrow making it difficult to get in and out of your vehicle and greatly increasing the risk of someone bumping your vehicle with their vehicle door. There are duck "droppings" on the sidewalks and benches which aren't cleaned up promptly. There also seems to be an issue with bugs and quite a few of them. I have seen trash in the lake, on the grass, and outside the compactor for long periods of time as well as leaves in the pool. The apt. entranceways (above and around apt. doors) are loaded with some type of "crud" and are an eyesore. There is vandalism on property too which I havent seen fixed for several months. Sound control is bad as I can easily hear my neighbor walking around and hear music from the other neighbor shaking my walls. Management has been very uncooperative and has given me wrong information several times. On site "courtesy" officers didn't respond even after 3 or 4 phone calls to proper phone #. I learned of a child predator who was arrested at Lake Tivoli apartments and I became fearful. I was very disappointed living here and dont wish this bad experience on anyone else. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

I invite you to our property to see for yourself what we have to offer. You are welcome to view our available apartments, open closets, open cabinets and generally inspect them and us! Please keep in mind that Lake Tivoli has 384 apartment homes and the comments on this website which range over several years make up only a tiny fraction of our past and present residents. If you live on a lake and ducks live there, there is a good chance that you will run across duck droppings. And no, we do not have a staff member dedicated to keeping benches and sidewalks clear of duck droppings. According to our "community policies" that everyone signs when they sign a lease common areas are to be kept free of clutter. Most residents respect that some do not. When we notice clutter or garbage where it isn't supposed to be, we address the issue directly with the resident and seek a speedy resolution. Our parking spaces are normal sized. I'm unsure of what vandalism this person is talking about, especially vandalism that has gone unaddressed for months!This person mentions the courtesy officer not answering his/her calls. We don't give out the courtesy officer's personal number. If someone would need the police department or 911 we'd suggest calling the police department or 911. I would urge prospective renters no matter where you are going to move to simply contact the local police for accurate crime statistics/info and to visit the property if possible so that you can have your own impression and then supplement that with opinions from other people I invite you to our property to see for yourself what we have to offer.
