Absolutely terrible! Do NOT live there!

Years at this apartment: 2002 - 2004
The neighborhood is in a bad part of town. As an example, within the first couple of months I had my clothes stolen from the laundry facility there. I called the police on that one and the cop told me that "they get a lot of noise complaints about Polo Run and that I should break my lease as soon as possible." Seriously!
The apartments are deteriorating. I requested (twice!) for a leak to be fixed and it never was, causing a huge crack in the wall as well as mold and mildew problems.
Maintenance is basically nonexistant. There were MANY cases for me but here are just a couple of examples. It took them TWO notices and a couple of WEEKS to finally fix my heater (during the middle of winter). On the check-in list I told them that the vent in the bathroom was broken, and I informed them that it needed to be fixed. It wasn't until THREE written notices and THREE MONTHS LATER that it was actually fixed (no exaggeration)!
Note that I was a good resident. I always paid my rent on time and was on good terms with my neighbors. When I finally moved out I made sure to fully clean my apartment, doing everything within my power to leave it immaculate. It didn't matter: they took my ENTIRE deposit citing unreasonable and false accusations.
I originally took the apartment because it was cheap. It was the biggest mistake I ever made. For the love of God, Do NOT sign a lease with these people.
