I have lived here for over a year unfortunately. I am only stayed that long waiting to buy a house. This is advertised as a gated community, however, in the year and a half I have lived there the gate has worked maybe 6 months total. My building is actually sinking and one end of it has actually been condemned due to doors not even being able to close anymore. The hot tub is out of commission more often than not and I actually ruined a bathing suit last summer due to the chlorine levels in the pool. The gas grill at the pool area hasn't worked for months and I was just informed a new one has been ordered. My wife had a pair of tennis shoes stolen from in front of the apartment and when I confronted the office about it, they replied to me "maybe a bird flew off with it". She was serious. When you go for a tour and think about signing a lease, they are the nicest of people, after that however when you need to report something or have a complaint, they don't seem to know who you are or that you are spending 1,000 dollars a month. If I were now looking for a place this wouldn't be where I would go. I just wish someone else had told me these things before I made my choice. If it wouldn't cost me all the time and effort to move before I get my house, I surely would be packed up and gone. In talking to someone who actually did move out, the office staff had changed his lease unknown to him and luckily he had a copy of his original that was not changed. they were trying to charge him exorbitant fees that he really didn't owe. I do not recommend this place at all and hope i can save someone the headache of dealing with this rental community.
