ame59??? how about aimco representative that works in the leasing office off of keel court; if you really want to help the community; how about you hire a security guard; even the trashy trailer park across the street has one

Lol and I'm no AIMCO leasing rep! Damn - do ya'll have it that bad with the management? At this point, I just feel bad for you guys. I have no idea why the management would treat certain tenants differently, but again, my experience has been pleasant.

For your information I have many reasons to feel the way I do about Runaway Bay. For the record Runaway Bay is not an ENTIRELY bad place to live however in the same breath I wouldn't recomend it to anyone EVER! I truly think there is a problem when you don't feel safe going to your car at eight in the evening. I don't feel safe at Runaway Bay and you are blind if you do. A substantial amount of the problem is who your neighbors are and how the management handles the problems that arise. When we first moved in my upstairs neighbor would blair rap music until 5a.m. (I have to get up for work at 5:45). I asked to be moved.....the rep replied to me that nothing was open(which is NOT what the website stated)and that they would be more than happy to as soon as something opened up. That day never came...it wasn't until that neighbor threw his girlfriend down the stairs and cracked her skull and the neighbor was hulled away by the police at 4a.m. one morning that the problem stopped. For a while I had wonderful neighbors however they have since left...one guy recieved a position in the keys that he couldn't turn down and another was transfered to Tampa against her will. Also you claim to live on Keel Ct. did you know that people keep breaking down the gate that borders the community? Right along the ponds on the little side street is where alot of drug deals go down. I would love to know when the "three consistant months" the gate worked occurred because that simply isn't true. The gate was wide open a few days ago and the bar that separates visitors from residents is rarely there! Many residents cars were broken into a while ago because of the simple fact that the are incapable of locking out the trash! If the did their job and kept the gates closed that would NOT have happened! For the ammount of money we(the residents)pay a month we should EXPECT certain things in return. 1. We should EXPECT the gate to work AT ALL TIMES 2. We should EXPECT our in unit AC to work PROPERLY 3. We should EXPECT our doors to lock 4. We should EXPECT that dog owners clean up their animals "presents" 5. We should EXPECT noise to be at a minimium by around 11:30p.m. 6. We should EXPECT our appliances to work properly and SAFELY 7. We should EXPECT that our upstairs neighbors NOT throw beer bottles outside off the balcony (an issue that the screens have fixed) 8. We should EXPECT that maintenance not come into your home unannounced * It has happened to me. I was asleep and they were about to service the wrong apt. apparently. I was home alone and just wearing a bra and panties. This should never happen under ANY circumstances! * when they were putting the screens into the upstairs units they had to access the balcony via a ladder which is perfectly understandable. My neighbor had been taking a shower and had left her screen door open just a little for her dog to get in and out for fresh air. Instead of letting the dog go into the apt. and shutting the door so they could work....the guy decided to go on a tour of her home and use her restroom WHILE SHE WAS IN THE SHOWER! He knew the water was on so he knew that someone was home yet he goes in there anyway! Secondly WHY was he there in the first place? Why did he tour her home? I understand that you have had a wonderful experiance however that has NOT been the case with many many people. I would like to appoligize about my "oral pleasure" comment it was out of line however so were your comments that I had no people skills or class. I am a good, kind person who just wants the community to get better and I have never been rude to the people who work there. Also are they just switching out the external ac units or are they also going to be working on the performance in the actual apartments? Who told you? Also If you don't work for them are you the police officer who lives on Keel Ct.? Just curious.....

Geez people, i have to agree !!! I have bad experience myself living in Runaway Bay, i live in mooring ct. I tought living right next to the office would make a different. I only live there for 7 month and i tryed to be nice to staff and managment. But everything you hear from them are lies and excuses. Nothing really happens. The Hallways are always dirty and garbage is laying around, on the 3rd floor the hallways are covered with Birdshit, so bad that is smells. Twice death Birds were hanging on the fishwire they put up for the birds not to fly in the hallway. Since i moved in i had problems with the A/C and its still not fixed.All AC Units will be replaced? What a joke !!! Cops,Sheriffs and U.S Marshalls are constandly at the Property. The Units itself are small with old appliances. Entrance Gate never works , if it works visiters can't call you on the callbox because thats not working. Its a horrible place to live and all the managment cares about is to rent units out as fast as they can do. I can't wait till my lease is up !! I hate it every day just to come home !!!!!!
