i so called "bought" a condo here and i was supposed to close in december..didnt happen. they let us move in anyway. they told us not to worry about transferring our electric to our name yet since we did not close yet. i can back from vacation today and my electric was off. spoiled everything in the fridge and made the place stink. also, i had talked to someone at the condo earlier today and she told me NOTHING about the electricity being turned off. Our porch light has been out for over 2 weeks. we called maintenance about 3 times and they said they'll get it fixed that day and its still not working. there's been a pot hole or something by the pool and they have blocked it off for almost 2 weeks now...still nothing done. Theres much more to be said but i'll keep it that simple and that should explain it all.

If you knew you were not closing on your unit, why would you expect to live for free. It was your electric use not theirs. If your porch light was out, buy a bulb. The money you were saving with free rent could have afforded you that.
