WTF kind of policy is this'''

I am NOT a resident and after calling about the apartments never would be. In the apartment books it states they are pet friendly and accept dogs. I have a chihuahua. I asked what the pet policys were. The lady tells me there is a $250 nonrefundable pet fee, but the only apartment they have available has new carpet and I WOULD HAVE TO PAY THE COST OF NEW CARPETING ($800.00) AS AN ADDITIONAL SECUIRTY DEPOSIT TO BE ALLOWED TO BRING MY DOG. WTF kind of policy is that' That dosen't sound pet friendly. Sounds like they are too cheap and poor to be running an apartment complex if they need the tenants to front the cost of carpet. Mind you that would be on top of a $500 secuirty deposit AND $250 pet fee for an apartment thats only $650 a month. Something seems VERY wrong here!

This sounds like a person with an anger problem and the fowl language isn't helping.

Give me a break...if you weren't worried about your dog doing something wrong you would not hesitate. Obviously it is not housebroken

The language used in this review reflects the type of person that wanted to rent here. Thank goodness for the rules that (this person surely misunderstood)kept this person from renting here. They surely would have upset my 3 cats and doggie.

You guys have got to be kidding me. What bad language did you see? You people obviously work here. And even if I had the extra 800 dollars to dish out on something that I don't consider my responsibility, I certainly would not spend it. Thats just silly, and so are you people.

It's obvious in every post that someone who works there responds to defend the place, the wording is so simliliar each time. Plus! Check other apartment complex reviews, you won't see these posts defending EVERY negative comment. These responses defending the place are obviously from someone who works there, probably the cranky old hag in the office, or her bitter drone leasing assistant who has been sent to rule Sunpointe Place with an iron fist, and add that to your foul language. So lets talk about the type of people you are, i think these bogus posts defending the place demonstrate what type of people run this place.

Was Rundown a bit..I lived there and it was not clean, a bit dirty, but not excessive either..I was tempted to write on the card that asked "What can We do to Improve" was "FIRE the Cleaning Lady"..LOL!.. I cleaned the Apartment thoroughly when I left and did recieve My full deposit back..I understand that some complexes need people whom are thought of as being mean or nasty because dealing with so many people and everyone treats their specific problem like its a crisis and deserves immediate attention does tend to wear on a person..not to mention all the excuses and disputes over late fees from tenants who don't pay on time that must be dealt with ALL the time..I don't think I'd be a "nice guy" if I had to contend with that kind of stuff all the time either..I moved out because they jacked the rent up by $40.00 per month upon a lease renewal and had no excuse for it other than gas prices?..Gas Prices?..c'mon guys you could have come up with something better than that..LOL! (like: "Hello Everyone, we are going to re-paint the whole place next Year and need the extra funds for the Supplies and Labor and This place is going to look great when We are finished") which they DID do! and it looks great. I drove by once and I think they did a little relandscaping too. I wish they would have just come out and told Us what the extra money was going to be used for? I wouldn't have minded it going towards improvements, even if they were only cosmetic. The appliances are from the 1970's/early 80's (yes I checked) just look at the water heater if you live there and don't beleive Me...so they aren't very energy effcient. Overall it was a transitional place for Me so I really never looked at it as being a permanent residence, so I really can't be too critical of the place. It could have been MUCH WORSE!..But also during My tenure, could have been better but, I can say that about EVERY PLACE I EVER LIVED, Who can't?!..I was just Thankful to have a roof over My head and a Save-A-Lot across the street! an Asian dollar store down the road and the $5.00 little Ceasars Pizza, Largo Central Park, The Moped/Scooter shop..etc,etc,...LOL..Overall, If I had to go back, I would, no problem! ..I didn't see any rats, but I did see some playful Squirrels and Birds (Pigeons and Seagulls.)
