I am amazed at the type of complaints, which this apartment complex has received. I will be the first to admit the management is tough as nails, but really do you want any other type of management. This management cares about the community as a whole and has little tolerance for those handful of tenants who attempt to ruin the tranquility of a good community and good tenants.
Let us reflect upon the type of reviews this apartment has received.
We have one tenant complaining about animal regulations in the apartment. I know as a matter of fact the head manager is an animal lover, she owns two dogs and two birds. Now that does not sound like someone who discriminates against animals, but she does discriminate against irresponsible pet owners who let their animals destroy the apartment s property, both interior and exterior. In all seriousness, we have all lived in apartment complex communities where management does not proactively attempt to control dog waste on the grounds. I say hooray for a policy where tenants who violate the rules and do not clean up the pets waste, have that waste returned to them with a notice of non-compliance; better back on your doorstep than on the bottom of my shoes.
The next complaint is from a tenant who complains that he receives noise violations for having company on the weekends. Once again hooray for a management who proactively attempts to reduce noise pollution in the community. I am assured at one time or another we have all had inconsiderate neighbors who have had company (parties) until the wee hours of the morning, while the rest of the good tenants are attempting to sleep. Once again, if you are an inconsiderate neighbor who likes to party all night and disturb your neighbors, this community is probably not for you.
Next complaint is that management is lazy, however this is kind of contradictory to every other review that list their complaints that management takes a proactive hand in the community, ie. Violations for not cleaning up your animal waste and violations for noise pollution, and not monitoring your children s behavior.
Next complaint. The apartments do not let children play outside. I think this may be an exaggeration. I have lived in communities where children are allowed to run free all hours of the day or night, and I assure you those communities are terrible. I have children of my own and management has never complained that my children are outside at the pool, or on the grounds. However, I am a good parent who is always with his children when they are outside or at the pool and I do not let my children infringe upon other tenants rights. I think the issue comes when parents just turn their children loose all hours of the day and night without supervision in the community. Nobody wants to raise other people s children. In neighborhoods where management is not proactive in making sure children are not running all over the neighborhood, usually instances of crime in those neighborhoods is increased.
In closing, if you want to come to a community and obey the rules which are outlined in your lease; if you want to live in a community where you can feel safe and know that a tough management who will not tolerate riff raff spoiling the community for those good tenants who adhere to the rules; if you want to live in a community where you receive a large apartment for a comparably great price for the area, that you do not have to worry about stepping in dog waste; or other peoples children vandalizing your property; or loud, obnoxious, inconsiderate neighbors then welcome to the community. If you do not fit this description, then we would probably not want you as a neighbor anyhow, and if you do move in expect your short stay to be unpleasant. One word of advice regarding management, you get what you give.

I couldn't agree more. I used to live at Golf Terrace, until I bought my own home. It was great. That was from 2003-2005. The management was very nice and kept the complex in order. Strict... yes, but for good reason. If I needed to, I would go back in a heartbeat.

I believe that both are at fault. Management should be a little more organized and better at customer service. I mean, yes it is good that they're strict but there is a difference between strictness and common courtesy. If I were a manager I'd want to be the better person in any situation toward my tenants even if their attitudes weren't positive towards me because then I know they have nothing against me. As for the tenants there are is an entire community thats also living within the complex and you should, instead of dumping it all on the management and staff, work together to solve it. That way its a lot faster and you wouldn't need to complain about it.

your reveiw is GREAT, I have also lived thier and I never had a problem with anyone at all! its always been quiet and clean, and the management has always been nice... I'm sure the people that leave the bad reviews on this community were kicked out for one reason or another, and now they want to "vent" boo hoo...

Did you copy this sales pitch from an ad for the property? This is so rediculous that tenants would spend the time and effort to defend a place that they'll never live in again, or owe a single thing to. Don't you have better things to do with your time, or are you receiving some incentive to defend this joke!
