It?s a good bet that any good ratings about this property were written by employees who live there.
UPDATE: MAY 2003
This incident has caused me to downgrade my rating from Recommend to Not Recommend. Here?s what happened:
I got home from work on Tuesday, May 13th and found a note on my door that said my air conditioning had been disconnected as would be hooked back up "as soon as possible". Not prior warning, just a note saying I had no air. IT IS MAY IN FLORIDA! Do you know what it?s like with no air conditioning' I called the office and they said they didn?t know when it would be hooked back up. When I asked why they didn?t give any notice, they said that they discovered that they would have to disconnect them AFTER roofers started putting in a new roof and they had to decide then to do it because the workers were "on the clock". I understand. Save money at the expense of the people that actually pay the rent. Nice. Run very fast from this place!
If you are looking for a large floorplan, this is the place. Including the screened porch, there is 1300 sq. ft. in the two bedroom model I live in. If you are looking for a modern complex, then look somewhere else. Although it has been kept up fairly well, the buildings were built in the 70?s, I believe. They are truely beginning to show their age. If you are looking for considerate, upstanding citizens for neighbors, then look somewhere else. The neighbor that currently lives below me was noisy from the day he moved in. After complaints to him were ignored, I complained to the office staff and they responded by writing him a letter. Things have been pretty quiet ever since. Parking really stinks, but not unbearable. There are no reserved parking spaces and to make things worse, there are not enough spaces for everyone. If you get home later at night, expect to park a good distance from your apartment. They have two elevators in the building I live in, but I am truely afraid to ride in them. They make really bad noises and one of them was broken for several weeks while being worked on. It seems like at least of one them is out of order because it is stuck between floors.
