Beware, the management staff & company are scams, and will treat you different once you give them your notice. The only reason we moved out was because we increased our family size. They showed their true colors once we were not considered residents anymore. They gave us an option to pay them to clean our apartment or we could do it ourselves. We decided to clean the apartment ourselves because there was nothing wrong with the apartment. We got a bill in the mail for what we owed. It was crazy! The management staff Alicia (who's no longer there)charged us for ridiculous things. She charged us for a crayon mark on the wall although they painted over it. She told us although they painted over it, it was the principle of the matter. She showed us pixs of this place that wasn't even our apartment. We spoke to other residents that moved out of there and they experienced the same thing. We keep calling Camden and corporate, and they refuse to call us back. They tell us there is nothing they can do about it, but just know Alicia is no longer there. We are fighting this, and will be contacting an attorney. The complex was even disrespectful to our face when we went there to complain about this. They had maintenance put up a board across the indoor window overlooking the walk-in foyer when we moved in because we had a child and when we moved out they tried to charge us $75.00. We were told they will take that off, but why did they try and charge us for something they did from the beginning. Then they have valet trash. We moved out 2 weeks early, and placed the trash in the bend. Keep in mind we had to pay every month for valet trash. The people never came and got it so we were responsible for that also. Residents use to always complain about how we were paying for trash removal, but they only showed up when they wanted to. We were charged for that since we didn't come back 2 wks later to see if it was removed. Alicia told us it was in the contract regardless if we paid for valet trash to make sure they came and got it. Can you please tell me why if I paid for that, and they had 2 weeks to come and pick it up' Just be careful when you move out, and know that the staff is very unprofessional and sneaky.
