When I found this apartment, I thought I hit the jackpot. Then, they brokered an agreement with Brighthouse that cost me an additional $250. I got my money back, but I went to the office every month to photocopy my bill and to have the same conversation with no results. The only time I got a full resolution (and restitution) was when I filled out an online survey, provided by the corporate office. One person in particular in the front office avoids me as if she is scared of me. She always has someone else return my call when I specifically email/call her.

Slowly, I am paying more and more for basic services. I am willing to pay more if I get more...like updated appliances, new carpet, etc.

I will never rent from any Camden property again. It is a shame, because I love my apartment, old appliances and all. I just can't justify overpaying and fighting over a few dollars. This is Orlando; there a zillion places to rent. I wouldn't be fooled by the reasonable rent. It isn't so reasonable once you actually start paying the rent.

Shame on you, Camden.

I totally agree. My family and I went through problems with this community as well. They are liars and a big rip off. The front office and the corp office never return calls and are very unprofessional and should be reported to the better business bureau. The charged me for damages to an apartment that we never lived in. With that in mind, be sure to take pictures of the apartment when you leave. Be sure to do it when they are there taking pictures. They are big time scammers and will charge you. Camden Place in Longwood is awefull.
