you would think since --- sold sabal for 75 million, and rebought it for 30 they would be able to lower a few re--- especially with the poor state of this place.

That is tough. Perhaps you should move, or threaten to move. Just because someone else got a better rate doesn't mean you got ripped off. You knew the price when you signed up, you could have declined then. I'd be more upset with the sad state of repair this place is. Not to mention the square footage they quote isn't even close to the actual. 1350 sqft for the 2/2? More like 1100 sqft.

They run specials for people to move in and I moved in during a special and got 1st month rent free and instead of paying 1100 I pay 917. That's why your neighbor pays that. Also, for the person saying its "in a sad state of repair" if you haven't notice they ARE fixing things up since the new company bought it and plan on redoing the roofs and other things. The last company didn't care obviously. The sq. footage includes your porches by the way.
