I moved in and my room was dirty. My mattress was covered in stains and there was paint on the mirror, carpet, laminate, ect. At the time I did not think much about it because everything else was fine. Then the management changed and it went from being a well-managed property to a run-down and stinky place to live. First of all last year I renewed my lease but I needed a new mattress because mine was all stained and sagging from previous use. I went to the office and talked to them and they said well we can't do that, blah, blah, blah. I told them that I had noted that on the sheet I had filled out when I moved in about the poor condition of the mattress. They went and looked up the paper and agreed to give me a new mattress. I waited several weeks and I finally got the mattress and it was like a $45 mattress that had the support of a cereal box. There are cats all over the property and eat all the rotting trash that has sat there for 3 days (only a $4.95 a month charge) and the cats pee all over the stairs that are covered with trash, cigarette butts, eggs, broken beer bottles, meat bones, mean cats, dirt and cat pee. Last summer are air-conditioner broke and they did come out the next day every time, which was about 3-5 times before they fixed it. Okay so let's get to the important data...BUGS!!!! they are here which is rather shocking considering the cleanliness of the tenants and the constant care by the staff. There are bugs in the fridge and weevils in all 2 cabinets(very limited cabinet space 2 small cabinets each resident). So then I was told that the bugs in the fridge were actually sewer gnats (yummy). Then the internet does not work. Go to USF well I haven't been able to access the school website for 5 months now. I have made 3 formal complaints and my internet service has yet to be repaired. So when I first notified the Manager in February about my ongoing problem with internet she told me that they had wonderful news. They told me that in late May after classes were over we would be getting Brighthouse(are you kidding me!!!). Okay so there is the computer lab and they have printers and internet, but they have no paper. During fall finals week they ran out of paper and said someone forgot to order any paper and all they had was legal paper if I wanted to cut that with some scissors so I could print my final. This place is a joke when it comes to taking care of an issue that a resident has. The manager will blow you off if you try to discuss anything in the above mentioned and actually tell you about how they have really had alot of complaints about the above mentioned and she seems pretty tired of the complaints. I know that I have really made this place seem horrible and a year ago I would have never even taken the time to do this, but I want other people to know what it is really like if you move in here. My roommate is awesome, but I think that is just pure luck because they only ask you 10 questions for the roommate matching. Overall, really terrible.
