I am a current tenant at Blue Isles & my lease is up in a few months but I will not be renewing my lease. This isn't a bad place to live but there are some things that they need to work on.

Bad points: One of the selling points of this community is that it's gated. Well, I would imagine it difficult to be a gated community when the gate is physically missing from the entrance. Now, there is still a gate at the front entrance but the main entrance that everyone mostly uses is broken. The amount of rent isn't bad but it's for a gated community, which presently, they cannot boast being. They are a little slow in getting the repairs done sometimes (up to a week) but if you hound them, they will get it done. There is a problem with bugs and such...not sure if that's something the so called pest control take care of b/c I've never seen them or notice they've been around except for once. There isn't much storage space, which is a bummer.

Good points: The apartments are pretty spacious, with large kitchens (a big deal for me). I haven't had any issues with noise except for with my recent neighbor (her dog barks up a storm). There is more than enough parking, with both my boyfirend and I being able to park directly in front of our apartment most nights.

All in all, it's not terrible but I think with what they are asking for, they need to make some improvements.
