We rented here from April 2005 - March 2007, and it was nice when we moved in. Now it is so ghetto, especially with the drive-by shooting in Building 11 around Thanksgiving 2006, and the recent burglary in Building 4 around January 2007. The management did not let anyone know about the drive-by shooting nor burglary. They epitomize inefficency, and their attitude is "we should be grateful we have such a big apartment for a small price." There is no parking for your guest, one spot per unit and the guest parking is taken up by the construction crew. They also don't allow pitbulls, however; there are at least TEN in the community. One is owned by a police officer who lives there. It is a disgrace and I would not reccomend living here - spend more money and go to the Grove at Turtle Run. The people who live here are the ones who don't care about how they live, they are satisfied living in substandard apartments. If you move in, good luck having the pool heated and jacuzzi working.

OK Mr. or Ms. Anonymous NOW you've ticked some of us off. I for one DO CARE about how I live and I have lived here for 5 years. Drive-by shootings, burglary and pitt-bulls for goodness sake are not things that constitute 'substandard apartments'. Shootings can happen anywhere (I believe John Lennon was shot outside his brownstone and I am quite sure HE did not live in substandard conditions); burglary - well that is sad, but again, can and does happen anywhere. While I agree that the parking is a problem and it is a pain having the construction crews take up all of the guest spots and the pitt-bull situation is a problem which should be addressed by the management (by the way, you counted 10 - how can you possibly do that? Did you report it to the office?) I do however feel like you are being a bit of a drama queen acting like drive-by's and burlary's happen every night/day here. I also take great offense at the comment you made about the rest of us who are choosing to live here Perhaps you should just take your judgemental self to the Grove at Turtle Run.
