They should pay residents to live here....

We moved in September '04 and did the mandatory walk through and found many deficiencies with the unit that were "guaranteed" to be fixed prior to move in. They are as follows:
1. Outer entry door light not working.
2. One entire wall and window moldy and deteriorating. To be replaced.
3. Fire extinguisher last checked in 2002.
4. Damaged (by small scratching dog) interior bath doors. (both bathrooms)
5. Damaged carpet tack strip.
This is just to name a few. We are moving out in October '05 and NONE of the promised repairs have been completed. Believe me, the staff and management have been notified repeatedly. We are considering deducting our deposit from the last month's rent. We will check the legality of such an action. This place is all promise and no action. The management team smoke and drink box wine by the pool behind the office. Notices to tenants are demanding and infantile. Example: Office notified that they would be changing out fire extinguishers in ALL units and specified the time for our building. My wife and I waited....and waited....and waited. We are STILL waiting for maintenance to knock on our door. Example 2: Office notified via note on each garage to report by a certain date that the garage was in use or they would remove all contents therein. When did they forget that I rented my garage' I pay for it monthly and note it on my check memo line. Overall, if you NEED to live in an apartment complex, shop elsewhere. This management team is laughable at best. I witnessed the maintenance team remove all of the items from a garage unit and divvy them up and take them home. That very evening, the garage occupant was looking in dumpsters trying to locate personal items. I believe a lawsuit is pending. With TLC, this could be a nice complex. But it is getting ignored by a group of lackluster individuals that MUST be getting paid minimum wage.

Every management/maintenance team is even worse than the last one, but never fear--they turn over every 6 months or so. I guess that's why they just don't care or respond responsibly. DO NOT move here!
