Current Apartment Break-Ins

Last week, 5 apartments were broken into. The irony...in all cases there was no forced entry. Thus, all apartments were entered with keys. This means person(s) with keys had access to the apartments and used them to rob all parties of valuables. When residents complained, the management blew them off, told them to deal with the cops, and swore it could not be their employees or current or past maintenance persons. This place is completely unsafe and if you are considering moving in, please reconsider. Even if you lock your doors you are in no way safe in this complex. The management thought they'd warn their residents by giving out flyers two days later briefly detailing the break-ins, but the most important detail was left out: that someone with a key broke into these apartments. They made it sound like a random attack. Do you really want to live in a place that keeps such vital information away from you' The management proved to be completely incompetent in such a time of crisis.
