Don't believe the hype. "Resort living at its best" - HA! No way. I got out. Don't enter into agreements with these people. They cannot be trusted. I had to break my lease after seven months just get some piece of mind. I wish I would of stayed in my old apartment complex (Windover). The management is by no means as bad as them, plus it wasn't that bad. We were outgrowing Windover so we decided on moving there. I should of guessed how the management would be if they showed no interest in helping me get under contract. I figured they were busy. I was wrong unless sipping Martini's by the pool is a definition of busy. Both managers are rude. I'm sure you already have experienced it if you are already coming to this website and reading my post.

We had bug issues for MONTHS. The one month pest control does not help. In fact, they use a handyman for pest control not a real service. I was told that I was not allowed to have a real pest control company like Truly Nolan come and do our place. Ridiculous. We had to do a lot of pest control ourselves. We used borax, etc. Nothing seemed to work. When the messy neighbors next door moved out, the bugs got worse!

I would like to say that the apartments are roomy. You can hear people above you too. The parking was no problem as we always had enough parking. The people were nice and I never had a problem with neighbors. The atmosphere seems nice, but the negatives outweigh the positives here.

Be prepared to receive various pieces of what I call "propaganda" posted on your door on a regular basis. I have never lived somewhere where I get more notices on my door than mail. That must be what happended to a lot of the trees around here...

Anyways, it's your choice but here's the bottom line: The management is rude, nasty, and lazy. The apartments are roomy, but prone to major bug problems. Water heater is prone to cracking/breaking. Mold is an issue. I know there has to be issues with spores because conveniently after we left we felt ten times better. The stress level went down too.

I wish I would of found this website first before moving into Caribbean Isle Apartments! Definately not resort living. Here are the pros and cons: Pros: Parking Garages available (limited) Neat ducks to play with Cons * Not well kept * Poor workmanship on the apartments * Management is horrible. In fact, their attitudes are reprehensible. * Mold and spores get people sick * Pools are not well kept and in fact Caribbean Isle is being sued right now by a Pool Supply Company - what does that tell you? * Lots of evictions and abandonments * Crime * In busy area (right off of Wickham Rd) * People speed through area.. No regard for speed limits * Management harrasses residents by posting "Isle Propaganda" on their doors constantly. * Management is inconsistent in enforcing rules. For instance, when we had to have the DirectTV dishes out of the ground, no one complied. I complied and then they complained that I did it wrong. No mention that no one else was in compliance. This all goes back to consistency.

hey hg1111'smom,don't forget about the wonderful maintance crew (crappy workmanship if you can get them to try and fix somethig) & the top notch pest control here.(pest control is a joke).and what else.....hmmmmmm...................oh yea MANAGEMENT SUCKS!!!!

Well could hg1111sMom not come up with an original name, you had to steal it and add to it. Don't make it sound like you belong to me. An as of outlaw101 you really need to work on your vocabulary. That last word seems to be a major part of your vocabulary. As the saying goes if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen. Same goes here, you don't like it then bail out, we're not holding you back.

I think hg111sMom name is great. Funny how less than one percent of the residents actually love the place while a vast majority have left due to all the negative reasons posted on here or are contemplating moving. Just because they are apartments does not mean that they should be crappy.
