Yep, Caribbean Isle Apartments was the location of the arrest of a guy suspected in an armed robbery of a Merritt Island store. The "pond arrest" in Cops episode #1911 ("Coast To Coast"). Although it was a nighttime arrest, I easily recognized the exact location where the suspect was apprehended as the Brevard County Sheriffs drove down Lake Washington, turned into the golf course entrance, turned left onto the little road in the apartment complex that leads to the leasing office, and subdued the suspect in the pond near the equipment garage.
As you can probably ascertain, I didn't feel safe due to the level of crime at Caribbean Isle. While there were other issues, the string of apartment burglaries in 2006 was the "final straw" that led me to leave when my lease was up. aLKeoXpj3s4OSgrp1trb

omg, that is sooo funny!!! me and my family who live here are always talking about the ammount of law enforcement that takes place in here. ive personally had to call the cops three times- once for a man beating his wife in the parking lot, one for two groups of young men trying to run eachother over in their cars, and once for the outrageous ammount of fireworks being set off in the parking lots for various holidays, but i am definately going to look for a clip of that!! i cant wait to get out of here.... NOT a good place to move a family, especially for the price you pay!!!
