Please walk away from these apartments. My fiance and I were going to move into these apartments, and in the beginning found them wonderful and appealing. Yet after we had payed a deposit and application fee, and then saw the real apartment we were to live in (not the model) were greatly disappointed. We were scheduled to move in, when my mother and older sister took a look at it, and pointed out things like the mold in the windows, cracks in the walls near the floor boards and many many stains of the carpet that we would have to report, and hope they don't try to scam us with saying we made them, things we would have never thought of until it was too late because we were new to renting. One, Caribbean Isles are in a civil lawsuit with bright house because of "locking out" their service, which is against the law. they can however, say "we recommend this company, you can get a discount... blah blah blah." Also, we never signed a lease, yet the management cashed our deposit check. We were searching for another apartment, and ironically found an amazing apartment, that used to be condos, much bigger, for 4 dollars cheaper a month, directly across the street. When we went to Caribbean and asked for our deposit back, they claimed that they had the right to hold the check for 72 hours, and then it became liquidated for compensation for holding the apartment off market. Yet, when i called their company bank, the check was cashed the day we wrote it. PLEASE STAY AWAY! these people are scammers, I'm so glad we found a better one, though we took a loss of $400, all because of bad people in this world.

It is ashame that they would have ever stated that your deposit "became liquidated for compensation for holding the apartment off market" when they have plenty of empty rentals. This in itself is an out-and-out sham!! I am a resident of Caribbean Isle Apartments to know this!!
