First let me make it clear that I moved because I did not feel safe in my own home and for several other reasons not as critical. My rent was never late, I was not evicted, nor did I ever have any problems with anyone at the leasing office. I lived here from the fall of 2006 to fall of 2008. Again, the primary reason I moved out was that I did not feel secure in my own apt home. Specifically, there were three separate incidents which created this sense of insecurity. Twice, while my outside light was out and I was sitting in my living room watching television, someone tried to open my front door without knocking. It was a good thing the door was locked both times because otherwise I don t know what could have happened. The third time was the most serious, when someone actually softly knocked on my front door and when I asked who it was, in very low tone/voice he said sir, can I ask you a questions' When I looked through the peephole the individual was standing so close against the door I could not see him. I told him wait a minute and I called the police. By the time the police arrived, he was gone. Now lets be honest, this could have happened anywhere, but I m just letting you know that it happened to me while I lived at this apartments. Another reason I moved out was due to the poor ground maintenance. Yes, the area by the clubhouse looks good, but the area by the second pool where my apt was, it was not well maintained and less than what could be reasonably expected for proper ground maintenance. The maintenance personnel are overworked but responsive when an urgent issue does come up. I did have some things that needed to be repair since I first moved in and were never fixed even after I reminded them a couple of times and told them again when I renewed my lease in 2007 as of the date I moved out . still not fixed. Example, the bathroom fan, the kitchen floor, the bedroom blinds and of course if you want your outside door light to work you have to change it yourself or you may be without a front door light for days and that s not good. Some little bugs do come out in the bathroom sometimes, but other than that I never had any problems with roaches or anything like that. My stay here was acceptable. This was a fairly comfortable apartment for a fairly average price. My recommendation is that you do your homework and look at other places before moving here. I would not necessarily tell someone outright not to move here, but to be careful if they do. It was my home for two years and I never had any problems with my neighbors or anyone else. Would I move here again'.. .Likely not.
