My apartment was a one-bedroom second-story facing the golf course. The biggest draw to this complex for me was the availability of a garage, which costs an additional $75 a month. It was obvious that the units aren't very energy-efficient, as my a/c unit had to run almost constantly in the summer, regardless of the setpoint. This resulted in relatively high electric bills for a 1-bedroom. My apartment had an ant infestation, and had to be bombed a couple times. Overall security at the place was iffy, with poor grounds lighting and greenery that often encroached onto walkways. There are always suspicious-looking people walking around, and why so many random cars driving through' Are they looking for something' Also the design of the downstairs entrance and upstairs apartment is NOT secure, because the downstairs window can easily be smashed (who's keeping an eye-out on the golf course at night'). Oh, speaking of golf course; it might be heaven if you're an avid golfer (I'm not), but beware at 4AM several times of the week: THE MOWERS. This might appeal to you if you're into getting up early. Another golf-course fun fact: the balls will go through your window. It's not IF but WHEN. Management isn't exactly hasty in replacing your window either.
Oh I almost forgot; YOU CAN'T GET CABLE AT CARIBBEAN ISLE!!! It isn't available!! Hope you enjoy DSL or satellite!! Ha, and they conveniently forget to tell you this until after you sign the papers.

Brighthouse is available at carribean Isle I have it, I have two kids and we enjoy living here with no infestations and two dogs...
