This was the first apartment my roommate and I had ever had.

When we moved in, we were given the option to have new carpet put in, or take $25 a month off the rent. We took the cheaper rent. Honestly, I didn't see much damage to the carpet when we moved in. What I did see were a great deal of spiders and cobwebs. Whomever turned the apartment over did not check it adequately as my roomie and I spent the first weekend chasing webs out out of the corners of the ceiling.

The next problem is apparently there was a woodpecker who was destroying the outside wall to our living room. Maintenence nailed a board over the hole, and we didn't see/hear the bird again.

Most of the problems I had in the apartment were with my roommate, so I cannot hold that against management.

We did have a really, very accomodating office person by the name of Pene who I felt took care of our concerns.

I would rent again, but couldn't afford it without a roommate.
